Thanksgiving 2008

It was a busy Thanksgiving. I was glad to get out of work early on Wednesday. We went to Oprymills with plans to eat and go walk through Opryland Hotel. We ate at Dave & Busters and got a sweet deal on a couple of game cards. We ended up staying there till after 11pm.

Thursday we went to Jacque's house for Thanksgiving. I cooked....salad. HA! It was a great meal. Where we've been on a diet my stomach doesn't fit as much food in it. So...didn't get to stuff myself. I was full not to long after I started eating. I guess that's a good thing but I had plans of stuffin' myself. We hung out there all day. We watched ball games and I mostly read. I started on New Moon and it had my attention pretty much all day long.

Friday morning we headed to Cleveland. Got to mom and dad's and we saw my brother, Cory, his little boy, and Jenny...my cousin. We ate about 3:30pm. Odd time but who cares...it's Thanksgiving. I LOVE stove top stuffing! I had plenty of that. Later that night we went to eat Greek food at my favorite restaurant, Gondolier. I had finished New Moon so I started on Eclipse. HA! I'm really hooked on these novels. My bros girl friend has read all of them and Twilight 3 times. She was reading through the entire series again. I've heard several people say it's good enough to read over and over. I'll have to agree.

It's Saturday and we're back home. Today was the Iron Bowl. Bama vs. Auburn. We've lost the last 7 Iron Bowls to the Tigers so today's victory...36 to 0 was sweet revenge. I did a lot of celebrating. :) Bama is undefeated and headed to play Florida in the SEC championship. Florida is favored. I like being the underdog though. Can't wait for the face off. ROLL TIDE!!!

I'm adding some videos from my phone. One from where we went to pet sting rays at Oprymills and then of my nephew Jacob at mom and dad's house. He's a cutie.
