BWW = Sad

One of my most favorite places to eat is Buffalo Wild Wings. Since we've started eating right...we don't go there much. Everything we like there is deep fried and/or battered, and smothered in cheese. I can get the naked (grilled) tenders but that's just not the same as deep fried goodness. Court spent the night with a friend so Jeff and I had date night Saturday. We braved BWW. So...to rehash...I hit that all time low on Saturday morning. Ran the bleachers at the track, ran a lap despite the wardrobe malfunction, and walked two miles. I went home, did a three mile DVD workout and then hit the weights. So we go to BWW and I ate grilled chicken wraps thinkin'...oh...these will be good. Got up Sunday and had gained two stinkin' pounds! Jeff likes to encourage me and say it was muscle gain. HA! Such a nice husband.

This only confirms, once again, that Jeff and I loose down to an all time low and dance around it for a few days after at two pounds above it or a little less and then will drop back down again. I looked up the Weight Watcher points on the grilled chicken wraps...18 stinkin' points. I only get 24 points a day. Maybe I should research more before I assume what I'm eating is good.  Ok...so BWW is off the restaurant rotation unless I want to force myself to eat Naked Tenders.

And just to say, Jeff and I don't go to weight watchers meeting anymore, but we do use the system to help us with portions and caloric intake. It's a great system if you stick to it. One thing we do, that annoys the heck outta me, is food journaling. I keep it on my iPod Touch with an Ap I purchased. I record the food, the portion size, and if I need to...there's a point calculator to help me get the point value for foods based off nutritional value. Jeff is a legalist about his points. HA! I don't always do it...but every time I keep it and follow the system...I loose weight faster. So I have 24 points and everything I eat during the day has a point value. I don't want to go over 24 points and I also want to be sure I get all my servings of water, veggies, fruits, and dairy. So for the grilled wraps to be 18 points....that's a whole lot of points for one meal.
