No...this isn't a conservative's plea to get off foreign oil. :)
Court had her back tooth filled and a back baby tooth pulled today. She's been so nervous all week about it. She somehow brought it up in just about every conversation we've had. :) She's had "stars" before on her baby teeth, but it's been awhile. We were the first appointment and they took us back right away and sat her in the chair. The dentist came in and numbed her up with a shot. Court was worried most about that part but she did really good and didn't complain at all. The dentist left for awhile to let it numb. The dental assistant sat on a stool beside the chair Court was in waiting for the dentist to come back. There's a swivel arm on the stool. I guess so the assistant has something to lean on when handing tools to the dentist. Well, she swung it around in front of her and propped her hands up on each side of her face...she's pretty young...and about 5 minutes later she had dozed off. I kept lookin' at her hopin' she wouldn't wake up and see me smirkin' at her. HA! She literally started slumping over with her mouth slightly open until she heard someone coming around the corner. Somehow I kept from laughing. :) Court was so nervous she didn't even notice. The procedure didn't take long at all. I took Court home until her gum stopped bleeding from where they pulled the tooth and then took her to school.
For awhile now we've had Family Dinner Night for the Jones family. We get together with Jeff's mom and Angie and Walt's family every Thursday. Most of the time we go to the local Mexican restaurant. I decided to kinda organize family dinner night because everyone stayed so busy we hardly ever saw each other. Tonight we had the dinner at our house. We got together for that and the National Championship Game. Everyone left after half time because it was getting late for a school night but we had a good time. We even invited over some other family friends to eat with us.
