I went back yesterday for my check up about my glucose numbers. Looks like the exercise did the trick. So, I will not have to take a pill or insulin to manage the high numbers. Praise the Lord!
One of the guys that works in the office with me didn't know I was pregnant. I was in the break room today filling up my big water jug and one of my office peeps walked in and asked how I was feeling. We were talking about the baby. This guy happened to be in there when we were talking. He said, "Ok! I was wondering...but I know if you aren't for sure...don't to ask." He said he saw me walk by the conference table the other day when they were having a meeting and caught a glimpse of my belly but was afraid to ask. I started laughing. I said, "Yeah...on Tuesday I'll be 8 months." He couldn't believe that. I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not. I mean, to everyone around the office that doesn't know...I could just look like I'm getting fatter. I definitely see a difference when I turn side ways. I see a baby bump...but apparently that is not apparent to some people. He was asking another guy from the warehouse if I was pregnant. That guy didn't now either but advised him not to ask. HA! I was laughing. The Dr. I see for the gestational diabetes said she can't tell I'm pregnant. I was wearing a hoodie at the time and that hides it well. I kinda wanna get bigger so people won't wonder...they will just know. On the other hand...I'm glad I'm not miserably big.
I am SUPER clumsy. I'm clumsy when I'm not pregnant. Now...it's like it's just super amplified. I dropped my phone in the toilet....again. I've shut my belly in the refrigerator door at least 4 times at work. I ran into a cubical wall yesterday. I successfully knocked clip boards and papers off the wall at the Dr.'s office. While picking up the papers and clip boards, I slung my keys and my glucose logs across the hallway. I was walking at a slow pace on the treadmill, lost my balance and almost busted it. I could go on.
Courtney has a solo for the school choir next week. They are singing a Beatle's song. She's so excited. I'm going to video it and put it up when it's all done. She loves to sing. Proud of her for getting the part. :) She also did great on her report card. All A's and B's.
