Ok...maybe this is going by a little bit faster than I originally thought. Seems like the weeks are flying by. The baby will be here before we know it!
What's going on at 16 weeks going on 17....
- The nausea is so much better...however I have the dry heaves....constantly. It's kinda funny. It's like my gag reflex is in over drive. No puking. Just random gagging.
- I can stay up until mid night now. I'm not trying for that...but there have been a couple of nights where it's been hard to sleep. I'll find the time flies while I'm working on stuff.
- I can feel the baby. I really felt him/her last Thursday. I laid on the love seat watching some TV and they were very active. I felt movement up until I fell asleep that night. Made me very happy. :) Since then, I feel little movements every once in a while. I definitely remember that feeling from carrying Courtney. You can't forget it. :)
- I can sweep and mop the floor without having to take a nap in between. Who knew that would be such an accomplishment. Really does no good with the doggies coming in and out of the house. Doggy prints everywhere.
- No maternity clothes needed yet. I can definitely feel a difference and see a difference...but I'm not going to put a bare belly prego pic online for all to see. With my clothes on...you can't see a difference. That's why I haven't really posted any belly pics yet.
- Actually lost weight since last week. Not an issue. Still don't have much of an appetite. I get really hungry and eating doesn't make me sick anymore but I still can't eat what would be a normal portion for me. All my portions are small. I get full very quickly.
- My face has been more broken out with this pregnancy than it ever has in my whole entire life. I've had some issue with it over the last couple of years because of the thyroid issue and I though that was bad...but this has been much worse. The hormones have kinda done a number on my face. I hope it goes back to normal once I have the baby.
- Sleeping on my stomach...is not so comfortable anymore. Of course....laying on my back is no longer comfortable either. This is funny seeing how I'm not that big yet. It can only get worse. I've also noticed my hip joints are tender. I get up REALLY slow after waking up. Hormones are doing their job to loosen everything up.
