So...I have my checklist on my Mac's desktop. And, I do the checklist because I'm a checklist kinda person. For some reason, it motivates me to actually accomplish my tasks and not procrastinate. I'm driven to remove things from the checklist. The only problem is...for every one thing I accomplish...I put 4 more on the checklist. So, preparation for camp and other ministry stuff piling up...it means long nights working after work. Last week I was lucky to get in bed by midnight.
Still doing good with health stuff. I was on a pretty long plateau for several weeks. Wasn't really gaining or loosing. Of course, I haven't been doing my regular exercise routine due to my never ending checklists lately. Not really a good excuse. This past week, though, I reached a new low and a new set of 10's. YEY! So...even though it's slow...I'm not gaining and still going down in numbers and pants sizes. I'm running out of things to wear for the summer.
I went to Knoxville Friday night...straight from work to spend the night with some friends, Melisa and Sharon. On Saturday, we drove up to Lexington to see our friend Denae and her 2 month old baby named Hadley. Her friends that live close prepared a "Sip and See" for her. Baby Hadley was a cutie! I stole this pic from Melisa.
From left to right, Amanda, Me, Heather, Denae with baby Hadley, Joy with baby Gracie, Sharon, and Mel.
And another I stole from Mel...
I headed back home late Saturday so I could be at church Sunday. I'm going to be gone the next three Sundays. This coming Sunday is The NEXUS, our college and career camp, then headed to New York Memorial day weekend with Jacque and Angie for a girl's weekend out, and then Senior Camp the week after that. Summer is ramping up and there's lots of activity.
