Thursday was Courtney's school choir performance. They finally got it rescheduled. She did great. :) I have it on video. Just gotta edit it and I won't be putting the whole thing up here as it was 30 minutes long.
Friday I got birthday presents from Courtney. She got me the Iron Man movie and a Twilight poster. I'll be hangin' it on the back of the bedroom door. I'm sure Jeff will love that. We went out to eat and came back and watched Iron Man together.
Saturday I cleaned and did laundry most of the morning and then finished up some Christmas shopping. That afternoon the whole family, Angie and Walt's family, Jacque, and all of us went to Oprymills to eat for Angie's birthday. She's almost exactly 10 years older than me. Jeff got his birthday present to me at the mall, a North Face jacket. I love it! After we ate we headed over to the Grand Ole Opry to see the Rockettes.
This was something Jacque had wanted to do for awhile so she took all of us. It was cool. There were dancing bears, little people as elves, Santa, and for the guys, plenty of bare leg high kickin' rockettes. It was funny because pretty much every song they did ended with high kicking like you see in the commercials.

Sunday we had church of course and after that we ate with the Pastor and his family. His two daughters were in town for Christmas. Both were in my cabin back in 2000 and 2001 and I knew them as little girls. Now they are all grown up and doing very well in life. I'm very proud of them. :) Got to hear my favorite story teller Van tell stories about Ginger Snaps and plungers. :P
When we got home after eating Jeff spent the rest of Sunday watchin' football and chillin'. I took Courtney to see Twilight. She was so excited and had a million questions when it was over.
