We made our annual trip to Kansas this year. It always falls on Jeff and Courtney's fall break. We fly up and spend a long weekend here. There's lots of family so we spends a lot of time with all of them. We flew in on Friday around 8:50am. Friday night we went to the Desoto football game. Phillip and Janessa play in the band and in the past some of Jeff's other cousins were in the band or played football so we've always made a point to make it to the ball games to watch. Saturday night we have a big meal with all of the family and visit. We watched college football and ate like Thanksgiving. Sunday everyone came back over for lunch and we ate like Thanksgiving again. We do a lot of eating up here. :) Sunday night we drove out to Jeff's cousin's daughters...got that?...college. Ottawa University and walked around. It was beautiful outside and the weather awesome. On the way out to the college there was a lot of farm land...very pretty. The sun was setting and on the way back the moon was full and lit up the corn fields. We'll be flyin' home tomorrow evening. Probably packin' an extra 10lbs. from all the food. :)
