The crud has been going around our house for the last month. From head colds to stomach viruses and I believe I'm starting on my second round of cold as of yesterday.
Courtney has been sick since last Thursday night. Cough, headache, stuffy nose, and sick tummy. I kept her home Friday from school. Part of her Christmas was the Toby Mac/Skillet concert on Friday night. She still wanted to go. We went and she laid in her seat and looked pitiful the entire concert. Halfway through Toby Mac she was asking if we could leave. Toby Mac is her favorite...so I know she wasn't feeling good if she was wanting leave him behind.
She laid around all weekend. She was supposed to go to her aunt Sara's for her cousin Elijah's birthday party. Friday night she said she didn't think she could go. I kept her home from church Sunday and then she's missed Monday and Tuesday of school. Hopefully she will be better by tomorrow. Make up work is going to be killer. I'm thankful my mother-in-law works from home and is in town this week...no business trips. She's kept Courtney yesterday and today.
