I woke up about 12:30am hearing Courtney crying in her sleep. I thought she was awake but when I got up and went over to her bed...it was apparent she was not. I nudged her to wake her up and she cried even more. I asked what was wrong and she said her stomach hurt really bad. We had not had very good room service as far as cleaning so I wanted to be sure...if she was going to be sick, she was close to the toilet. I moved her and the comforter to the floor outside the bathroom so she would be close. Thankfully she made it through w/o throwing up although she was very nauseous. She did have lower intestinal issues though...and that was pretty BAD!
I got up early to check on her and caught the sun rise. She was feeling terrible. We weren't going anywhere that day. One of the ladies that went on the trip had Phenergrin on hand, so I gave her one early morning and she slept almost all day. She woke up late afternoon and she said she was hungry...so she was feeling better. Compared to Seth and Jimmy who had also had the stomach bug...that seemed to be what it was. It was only a 12 to 24 bug. She was ready to eat dinner that night.
We did go to dinner with everyone that night. She was still a little weak but did eat some chicken. I was SO glad to get outta the hotel room. I was going stir crazy all day.
The men went to the work site early that morning and the ladies went to Bro. & Sis. Ramos' house to eat and to walk the neighborhood and hand out gifts. The ladies said their time was amazing and their were tons of kids they got to meet.
