Apparently, I draw every character ripped. HA! Gotta learn to laugh at yourself. From where I drew nothing but comic book characters when I was young, everything is muscled up. A lot of my pics of Jesus have him ripped as well. I'm sure Jesus was in shape since him and the disciples walked all over the place but he probably wasn't built like a comic book character. :)
I had my Dave Ramsey allowance and decided to go get myself a sketch book Thursday. I have several laying around the house but decided for new inspiration...I would just get a new one. I just so happened to have a Barnes & Noble coupon emailed to me today so I took that and got a soft leather sketch journal.
I sat down as soon as I got home and started sketchin'. Nothin'. I have absolutely no inspiration. Thing is...that's kind of important. I don't just sit around drawing things outta the blue. Once I get that inspiration...I can draw for days as if in some kind of art zone. Right now...I'm staring at blank pages and nothing I know of to draw. I'll wait around for the allusive inspiration I guess. Here's the sketches I found in garage.

These two were from the books Piercing the Darkness and This Present Darkness. I couldn't tell you now what they were about. No clue. These are the angels that were in the book. They are comic book posing like I'm sure angels do. HA!
Apparently this poor Jewish slave has also had to spend time in the gym because he is also ripped. I guess all that hauling of straw and brick pumped him up.

And here's Moses and Pharaoh...for some reason Moses looks way outta proportion. If he put his arm down it would come to his calf muscle. He's lookin' pretty angry. Probably sayin' somethin' like "Let my people GO!!!" or "A plague of locusts upon you!!" Something dramatic like that. :)
