We all had this terrible chest cold but we were getting over it. Jaden relapsed back into it on Thursday. By Friday morning he was having a hard time breathing. His chest and diaphragm were working hard to take in air and it obviously had us worried. Jeff took him to the Dr. Friday and come to find out he had RSV. They put him on breathing treatments and antibiotics for the ear infection in his right ear. I had to call and message all his little buddies to tell them not to come. RSV is dangerous to infants and is highly contagious. Plus...if any of them were sick with something...his immune system would be weak and not able to fight off the germs.
We had a great time with family, though. Mom and dad came up. They brought Jaden a cute Curious George cake. We also had aunt Angie, uncle Walt, Melissa, Aunt Janice, Uncle Roy, and Grandmama. Jaden didn't act sick at all. He was a trooper.
Jaden opening his presents was pretty funny. He's going to be a neat freak. He couldn't handle all the paper on the floor. He was trying to put it back in the bag.
Because he was sick, he had no appetite at all. :( Made it kind of hard for him to get into his smash cake.
