Jaden Turns 9 Months

1. Jaden is testing and understands right and wrong. There are doors and drawers on the entertainment center that he knows he's not supposed to go into. At least two to three times a day, he will go over to them...look me in the eye...grin, and then open the door. When I get up to go over there to shut the door and tell him "NO NO" and move him...he knows and starts to crawl away quickly.
2. Jeff isn't always good at telling Jaden no. He ends up hiding his face behind a piece of paper or a book because Jaden knows how to turn on the puppy dog eyes already. Jeff just ends up laughing.
3. He's stood on his own several times. He's not confident about it but he will stand and grin ear to ear when he does it.
4. He's in 12 month clothing and some 12-18 month clothing. Some larger 9 month close still fit him. 
5. He's in a size 3 shoe...soon to go into a 4.
6. Jaden eats baby food but he LOVES regular food. He will eat whatever is safe for him to eat. I even give him some meats if I cut them up small enough for him. He can eat quite a bit when he wants to. He love peanut butter sandwiches.
7. Jaden has two bottom teeth and the Pediatrician said to expect two more behind those.
8. Still nursing him. I probably will nurse him until he's 12 months or able to drink regular milk.
9. We're working on a sippie cup. He will drink out of them occasionally.
10. He will talk like he's having a conversation in baby talk. He moves his hands and arms around and can even get very serious looking.
11. He loves to sing during worship at church or when other people are singing specials. He likes to sing LOUD.
12. He's gotten more attached to Jeff and loves spending time with his daddy.
13. Our special time is at night before bed. We put him between us and he will entertain us for quite a long time. He talks. He gives us hugs and kisses. He'll stand up...I guess he knows if he falls over it won't hurt. He loves to slap his hand on daddy's chest and belly. He likes to pull the hair on his chest. Ha!
14. He's loosing his baby features quickly. He looks like a little boy instead of a baby. Can't believe it's been 9 months!
