Haven't had the time or will to blog. Twitter has been my blogger lite because I can update it from a desktop widget on my mac at work or on my phone. It's been absolutely insanely busy! We aren't normally this busy at work but for some reason we were slammed out of our minds...more so than I can ever remember. The work situation started in March actually. On top of that it's been worship team practices for TN Ladies Day leading up to the event, all day outreach for church, practices for church worship team, revival, Ladies Day at Roberts, camp preparations, and church. Not a day without something to do and then to run from that to another something. Had over 60 hour work week at my most..which I understand managers normally work more than that. I have no problem working but I really need my family time. There were a couple of weeks there I barely saw Jeff and Court. That's not counting my freelance projects for church stuff. I was literally working when at home or staying till 1:30am at the office trying to meet deadlines.
Court did really well in school this 9 weeks. She got all A's and one B. Her math came up from a C to an A so that's awesome! She got an AR award at the last PTO meeting for meeting her reading goals. She starts middle school this coming year. I can't believe it. Good grief!!! Jeff was so stinkin' excited to go to her orientation. She'll be going to the school that he attended when it was a high school building. It's one of the best middle schools in Sumner County and she'll go to Hendersonville High school when she's done with Middle. Both schools have great reputations. Jeff was walking court around the school showing him his old classes. He wanted to check out all the clubs and electives she could get involved with and was explaining them to her. I was just following them both around watching him get excited about middle school and Courtney getting nervous she'll never find her classes. Most of her friends are going to another middle school. We're zoned for Ellis which is where she's attending but since Jeff is a teacher she's gone to Elementary school out of our zone so she could go with Emily and Melissa. She's been a little upset that she won't see her friends next year. It's a big deal to her and we're being sensitive to that but for many reasons, she's going to have to go to school in our zone.
I've got so much updating to do. I'm gonna do it one event at a time...so multiple entries.
